🍷 Old but Gold

Established on the remains of a Cistercian priory acquired by a family in the 1960s, this 12-hectare estate has been run since 1981 by Jean-Michel Maurice and his family.

With a beautiful ruby red color, this great Burgundy wine is vinified in open vats.

👃🏻 The nose

Elegant and powerful, marked by a dominant sour cherry-blackcurrant-raspberry, evolving towards strawberry and undergrowth after a few years.

👄 The taste

Soft, discreetly tannic, it have a balanced and tender structure, which gives it a feminine image. This Savigny can be kept between 3 and 10 years.

This wine will go perfectly with cheese and beef.
